The 2009 Anthology "Raising Humanity" is now released and available from Barnes and Noble and other fine online bookseller. 



Emmy-award-winning actor Martin Sheen joined the LFC team in 2009 as a guest writer in the anthology "Raising Humanity". Sheen visited with us in November and is pictured above with LFC founder Michael Sweet, LFC ambassador Anthony Perrozzi and James Lyng student Carly McRae.


Learning for a Cause launched the 2009 anthology "Raising Humanity" at Lester B. Pearson High School on May 19th with Canada's First Astronaut Marc Garneau (pictured above right with LFC Founder Michael Sweet).

The book also features a foreword by Emmy-award-winning actor Martin Sheen and creative work by more than 125 students.

Raising Humanity is now available from BN.com and other fine online booksellers.

Last Year's LFC Anthology recently won two new awards. The 2009 Indie Book Awards placed "Down to Earth" on their finalist list for the "anthology" category and declared it the first runner-up in the "nature/environment" category.
