Down to Earth with Roberta Bondar and Justin Trudeau is perhaps 'the' most celebrated collection of work from Learning for a Cause. This book offers a rare opportunity to explore how the looming environmental crisis affects us emotionally - taking a normally abstract scientific topic and making it intimately personal to us all. Down to Earth attracted endorsements from celebrities David Suzuki, Farley Mowat and Martin Sheen. Two years after its release the book is still circulating widely in Canadian schools thanks to a generous grant from Metro Inc.

21st Century Communities is a 2009 title from our partner school Avonview High in Windsor, Nova Scotia.
When grade 12 students asked, "What defines a community in the 21st century?" their teacher didn't presume to know the answer. We Who Listened is a collection of student responses in response to the life-story of Holocaust survivor Alex Levin and his memoir, "Under the Yellow and Red Stars".
